The youngest of the team, he is a member of the Italian Air Force and is credited for landing the winning blow, the double take-out that secured Italy's place at PyeongChang. He has a preferential relation with the Games: in 2012 he led Italy’s mixed team to a silver victory at the Winter Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, losing out only to Switzerland. Curling is a matter of family: his first manager was his father, Adolfo. He spends his free time playing beach volleyball and five-a-side football.
